Stellar is an open-source network for currencies and payments. Stellar’s platform makes it possible to create, send and trade digital representations of all forms of money—from dollars and pesos to bitcoin. Stellar is designed so all the world’s financial systems can work together on a single network. The software runs across a decentralized, open network and handles millions of transactions each day.

The 8PTS team jumped in to help Stellar prepare a series of presentations for on-demand tech talks featured during Meridian 2021, a virtual conference connecting experts in finance, policy and technology. On a heightened timeline 8PTS designed 8 webinar decks for 8 different speakers completing a total of 81 custom slide designs. 8PTS brought to the project a refined messaging hierarchy, elevated typography and streamlined message pacing. The 8PTS team worked from initial hand-drawn rough sketches by technical developers and designed over 60 infographics explaining the complex technology behind Stellar. The team also generated a supporting custom icon system for the presentations and animated infographics to enliven certain content areas. In a crunch, the 8PTS team helped ensure Stellar stood out at the conference and delivered highly technical information in a beautiful, engaging and elegant form.
