Newly launched ETFs compete against other funds for the attention of advisors and brokers. It is essential that fund sponsors have a plan to differentiate their new ETFs in a crowded marketplace. BNY Mellon Markets needed to stand out from the competition as they headed to “Inside ETF”, the world’s leading ETF conference. 8PTS was tasked with generating ideas for a suite of powerful sales tools along with a striking conference display.

8PTS turned the letters “ETF” into a literal landscaped typographic structure — illustrating in three dimensions how ETFs provide growth through BNY Mellon’s careful planning and design. The corresponding booth concept, designed by 8PTS and executed by our friends at Objective Studio, showcased real plant growth encapsulated in larger-than-life, architectural scale letterforms. Our booth design dramatically called attention to BNY Mellon Markets’ ETF solution and the promise to help clients spur and manage their financial growth.
8PTS expanded the original typographic vision into a stunning and surprising suite of materials and experiences that captivated event attendees and BNY Mellon Markets’ customers. Amidst a sea of typical bland financial trade show booths, the 8PTS campaign far outshined the others and was deemed by BNY Mellon Markets, “the best booth we have ever had.”
